Box Technologies, the UK’s leading provider of customer interface technology solutions, haveannounced their continued nationwide sponsorship of premier kart racing company, Daytona Motorsport.

Established in 1990 and now with three venues in Manchester, Sandown Park and Milton Keynes, Daytona Motorsport has managed to combine the ultimate karting experience with first class hospitality, something which struck a chord with Russell Willcox, Chairman of Box Technologies, when he said “We have hosted an annual karting event for the last 10 years. It is always keenly anticipated and enjoyed by our partners, associates and employees alike. Karting at Daytona Motorsport provides us all with a opportunity to try karting within a safe, yet competitive setting”.

Technology drives all areas of motorsport and Box Technologies’ sponsorship brings the latest in customer interface solutions to the trackside including self service registrations kiosks for the drivers, and most importantly, display screens bringing lap times, lap charts and race results. Box Technologies are also supplying back office hardware and digital signage.

Jim Graham, Marketing Director, Daytona Motorsport said “We are delighted that Box Technologies are continuing to support Daytona Motorsport with their sponsorship. Over 1.5m that time technology has changes out of all recognition. Our partnership with Box Technologies ensures that our customers have the latest information at their fingertips as they race their friends and colleagues”.

Willcox added “I know of many people who have attended our events in the past and then introduced their friends and families to karting as a hobby. This year’s event is being held on Wednesday 20th July 2011 at Daytona Motorsport’s Milton Keynes venue, and I am sure that past winners will be looking to add to their trophy collection, with another set of winning laps”.
